Sustainability

If you want to meet "green", you are exactly right at the Eurogress Aachen!

As a Eurogress team, we regard sustainable action as an important, societal task which we responsibly take on our own initiative.
We are convinced that environmental protection, economic success and social cooperation can go hand in hand and thus make the best contribution to a livable future.
To make sustainability an idea to a successful global project, we can all contribute something.

What we consume or do not consume, how we move, who we work with, what kind of energy and materials we use, how we organize meetings and congresses play a role.
Every decision has the opportunity to be a sustainable step and the sum of the many steps will be the path to the goal. This attitude is part of our corporate philosophy and is reflected in our organization and infrastructure.
In Eurogress' corporate strategy, sustainability has been a priority for many years, which we take into account in its various ecological, economic and social dimensions:
Energy efficient air conditioning and lighting systems, separating and avoiding waste, integrating regional suppliers and service providers, supporting social projects, promoting employees with training and further education, using e-mobility, retrofitting buildings - these are just a few examples of our commitment.

As one of the first congress centers in Germany, Eurogress has been awarded the Green Globe Certificate of the EVVC (European Association of Event Centers e.V.) for comprehensive measures in environmental protection and the "Meeting Experts Green Award" for sustainable personnel management.

Feel free to contact us if you would like information on our sustainability concept or advice, for example: for the sustainable arrival and departure at congresses and conferences.

Eurogress Aachen is committed to the sustainability code of the event industry:

Our company was one of the first event locations in Germany that implemented the newly developed code into its corporate strategy.

The Sustainability Code, initiated by the associations EVVC (European Association of Event Centers e.V.) and GCB (German Convention Bureau e.V.), is a voluntary commitment to corporate responsibility for sustainability in the organization and execution of events.

The ten guidelines of the code reflect the qualitative goal of balancing economic, environmental and social aspects, while 35 concrete guiding principles provide guidance in the implementation of sustainable action.

Here you will find our latest progress report according to the guidelines of the Sustainability Code (only available in german language).
